Center for Environmental Study

The Center for Environmental Study looks to an increasing presence in regional environmental issues and education. Leading by example, the Center will use scientific information and a shared sense of community at all levels to create environmental awareness and involvement. A dynamic, involved and success-oriented Board of Trustees and the establishment of a secure, long-term funding base are critical to this vision. Selecting projects on the basis of need, resources and appropriateness to its overall vision, the Center will act as a facilitator and catalyst, creatively using partnerships to expand its reach and effectiveness. While maintaining a regional and local focus, the Center will remain open to new challenges and opportunities for growth.
